On Sunday I asked you to recognize 2 daily stressors that you can choose to separate from.
For the most part, the responses I got were of stressors that you can't physically separate from. Which was what I was hoping for!
It's not always feasible to physically separate from your stressors. A bad job, an uncomfortable home-life, even recovering from an illness.
You can, however, choose to not identify with your stressors. To do this, you must:
- Recognize stress, and externalize it.
- Consciously choose your attitude.
You get to pick your attitude at every moment of the day. Don't forget that.
