Here are 3 ways to set yourself up for success today:
- Self-educate.
The average reading level for U.S. adults is 6th grade. And 64% say that they’ve read 1 book last year.
With finishing only 1 book in mind, consider that over 50% of books purchased in 2022 were fiction.
If you want to be more well-read than most Americans, all it takes is 2 books/year or just 1 non-fiction book/year.
- Question long-held beliefs.
The reason most aren’t successful today like the 1% isn’t because they don’t desire it, but because they follow the herd, commit to beliefs they have not questioned deeply enough, and rely on the opinions of others to form their own identity.
- Be of service/value to others.
When you give invariably of yourself, you become a magnet to like-minded people.
You also become clearly aware of who is & who is not of service/value to you and your goals.
