Herrlee Creel is an expert on ancient Chinese schools of thought. He's quoted
"Cynics would have us believe that altruism is rare. It seems possible, however, that the best of intentions are not nearly so rare as the wisdom that is necessary to implement them."
So here are your two tasks for today:
- Write down your most altruistic intent. (Likely being of some service to others)
- Contemplate the experience necessary to implement your altruism.
If you don't know your most altruistic intent, you are not living your life's purpose. Find it at all costs.
